This weekend, March 5-7, Alpine Shop is celebrating its 10th Annual Great Canoe and Kayak Event with over 20 hours of clinics, programs and films dedicated to the art and sport of paddling. Featured presentations at the Kirkwood location include “The Paddling Gourmet” with Marty Koch and “Kayak Fishing Tips from the Pros” with St. Charles-native and professional kayak fisherman Brett Boschert. Saturday evening will be completely dedicated to the Missouri River 340 Race including the St. Louis premiere of the documentary, The Next 340 Miles, presented by filmmaker Jodi Pfefferkorn at 7 pm. First Wind-Powered Ferry Planned for San Francisco Bay
